Community Bulletin Board: Notice for Users and Posters

The Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village does not control content. Use your best judgment about the products and services posted on the Community Bulletin Board.

Guidelines
By posting your bulletin board notice here, you agree that it is in compliance with our guidelines. We do not wish to censor or police the notices being posted here, nor do we have the time to monitor every posting, but in order to prevent abuses by a few people and to keep this bulletin board comfortable and appropriate for our general audience, which includes people of all ages, races, religions, and nationalities, we reserve the right to remove any notices in violation of our guidelines that are brought to our attention. Therefore, all postings that are in violation of our guidelines are subject to being removed immediately and without prior notice. By posting a notice here, you agree to the following statement:

I agree that I will be solely responsible for the use and content of all bulletin board notices that I post under this program and that I will indemnify the Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village and hold it harmless for any losses or damages to myself or to others that may result directly or indirectly from any notices that I post here.

By posting an notice here, you further agree to the following guidelines:

  1. No foul or otherwise inappropriate language will be tolerated. Postings in violation of this rule are subject to being removed immediately and without warning.
  2. No racist, hateful, or otherwise offensive comments will be tolerated.
  3. No posting promoting activities that would be illegal under the laws of this municipality, this state, this country, or of the state or country of domicile of the person posting the ad shall be allowed.
  4. Any posting that appears to be merely a test posting, a joke, or otherwise insincere or non-serious is subject to removal.
  5. The Hopedale.net Webmaster reserves the ultimate discretion as to which notices, if any, are in violation of these guidelines.
  6. The Hopedale Community Bulletin Board is for postings by private individuals and community groups of the Village of Hopedale and *bordering* communities. It is not for commercial use.

Privacy
Your e-mail address will not be displayed in your posting. Instead, viewers will click on a "Reply to Ad" link to send e-mail to you, and they will not see your e-mail address. Please know that although this information, as well as the "Display Street address and Phone Number" information may not be posted, as you direct, it is considered public information and thus available to any who make a proper request for it.Because of the Freedom of Information Act, you should regard all information you supply to the Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village either directly or through the Internet as public information unless specifically protected by privacy laws; such as personal medical or financial data.

Review
Every posting must be approved by the Hopedale.net Administrators before it goes live on the Internet. The Hopedale.net Administrators/Village maintains the final rights to add, modify, or delete any posting at its sole judgment. You should get an immediate acknowledgement of your post explaining this. IF YOU DO NOT it is because of a bad email address! Could have been a typo, com instead of net, whatever. Nonetheless it will NOT BE POSTED.

Termination
The Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village may terminate or temporarily suspend your access to all or any part of the Community Bulletin Board, without notice, for conduct that the Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village believes is a violation of this Agreement or any policies or guidelines posted by the Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village, or for other conduct which the Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village believes, in its sole discretion, is harmful to the Community Bulletin Board or other Users. In the event of termination, you are no longer authorized to access the Community Bulletin Board, including the interactive areas, and the restrictions imposed on you with respect to content downloaded from the Community Bulletin Board, as well as the disclaimers and limitations of liabilities set forth in this agreement, shall survive.

Warranties
The Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village makes no guarantee of the availability of the Community Bulletin Board notices and provides no warranties regarding the continued existence of any posting. The Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village may discontinue operating the Community Bulletin Board and terminate this Agreement without notice at any time for any reason in its sole discretion. The only right with respect to dissatisfaction with any policies, guidelines, or practices of the Hopedale.net Webmaster/Village in operating the Community Bulletin Board, or any change in content, is for you to discontinue accessing the Community Bulletin Board.
